ECLIPSECX INTEGRATED COLORIST COMMAND STATION JLCooper’s new Eclipse CX - is our first fully integrated Colorist Command Station for use with advanced video color correction and editing software.
It’s is a professional-quality control surface with conveniently placed controls at your fingertips, in a newly designed enclosure style, with metalic finish and brushed aluminum end caps.
It features a full array of controls including 3 custom transparent, backlit trackball mechanisms with purpose designed, free–spinning control rings. Molded ring surface insures precise control.
You get fast access to color parameters with 6 smooth, high–resolution rotary encoders and 5 detented rotary encoders. There are 41 illuminated function keys, 7 edit keys, 3 VF displays, blue LED timecode display, professional transport buttons with status indicators and JLCooper’s custom optically encoded jog/wheel with concentric shuttle ring. Eclipse CX includes 2 interface card slots for connection via 10/100 Ethernet, USB, RS-422 or RS-232.

It is designed for use with advanced video color correction software and other applications where multiple trackballs with control rings are beneficial.
Controls include 3 transparent, backlit, trackball mechanisms with purpose–designed free spinning control rings, 6 high–resolution rotary encoders, Dual VF displays, and 14 function keys.
It can be used as a stand-alone controller or it can be interfaced with other MCS-3000 Series modules to form a larger console. It connects with a MCS-3000, MCS-3400 or MCS-3800 using a modular cable and has 2 - MCS-3000 Interface Card Slots for a variety of connections including Ethernet, USB, RS-232, and RS-422.
MCS-Spectrum is compatible with Apple Final Cut Pro, Final Touch, Assimilate Scratch, DVS ClipSter, IFX Piranha Cinema, Iridas Speedgrade and other software applications.
